May 29, 2007TV Networks in the Philippines are not really known for their creativity nor their originality to come up new ideas. This is one of the TV networks ripping-off several internationally known characters. Namely Lupin, Sailormoon, Indiana Jones and finally Lara Croft.

Well, the Chinese ripping off a whole theme park is another matter… and you thought that piracy is that bad in the Philippines.

You have to admit though that seeing Indiana Jones and Lara Croft working together is quite interesting especially when you get to see them hurting people. But then, I wouldn’t know anything about how their story goes since it’s been a while now that I have not followed any locally made series. Hehehe!

That’s china for you. Cheap labor, inferior quality products and imitations. What do you know, they have massive market that patronizes these products hence, the emerging china. A sleeping giant bound for consumerism. Nonetheless, they will continue to play a major role in world economics and is here to stay. Those charaters are awefully imitated. poor kids…
